To be gay or not to be
A television reporter said he was gay. Apparently is a big deal about coming out. It is a big emotional issue. People need to know and have this right.
I found this very hard to understand. Why should I care most about a gay problem when there are plenty problems in someone’s life unrelated with sexual orientation? People die because of fatal illness, people die because of tragic accidents, people die because of poverty, people die because they do not want to live. In a very few cases someone’s sexuality is related with death or with unhappiness. Or should I say sexual orientation, not sexuality.
I really do not care if somebody is gay or straight. What I care is somebody being a good person and thinking twice before trying to hurt someone, does not matter in what way.
